PAG Responsibilities
Operations
The Lead Operations role for PAG helps set the strategic direction for PAG and acts as liaison with the HOA and other groups within IslandWalk. This individual sets the agenda for and facilitates PAG meetings, manages the new member on-boarding process, and continues to review and update PAG Operating Guidelines. The Operations Lead also publishes the IslandWalk Pickleball email blasts, providing players with important information updates.

Communications
The Communications Lead publishes the Pickler’s Post newsletter, manages the IslandWalk Pickleball Membership List, develops and posts signage, and maintains the bulletin boards.

Facilities and Equipment

This individual is the key point of contact for the condition of the courts and associated equipment and has an established protocol for working with the HOA to plan and complete needed maintenance and improvements.
Technology
This team manages the IW Pickleball court reservation app (RMC), the Facebook account, Sign-up Genius, the FillOut forms for registrations and our IW Pickleball website: https://www.islandwalkrec.com/pickleball
Finance
The PAG Finance lead purchases first aid supplies, balls for PAG-related activities, and various court supplies. Responsibilities include managing PAG cash and credit accounts, coordinating disbursements, and leading fundraising efforts as well as business sponsorships and credit programs to offset the costs of activities and events.

This team coordinates with the HOA in planning social events and organizes and oversees volunteers for these events. Along with our annual Spring Social, they organize additional social activities and oversee the IW Pickleball online apparel store, pickleballxtra.com.
Sports Activities – Recreational
The purpose of the PAG Recreational Sports Activities Team is to plan and organize a mix of recreational play opportunities for resident players at all skill levels. These include drop-in play, ladders, round robins, shootouts, and other PAG events.

This team creates programs to raise awareness among the IslandWalk Pickleball community on topics such as player ratings, injury prevention, conditioning, and nutrition. They also maintain the first aid supplies at the pickleball courts.

This team takes the lead in organizing Captains and Players for West Villages' “Road to the Cup” tournament and conducting the IslandWalk Intracommunity Tournament.
