IslandWalk currently uses the Reserve My Court (RMC) system to enable residents to reserve the IW bocce, pickleball and tennis courts, as well as the ping-pong and pool tables in the Event Center.

The IslandWalk RMC User Guidelines provide instructions for residents to register on the RMC system and connect to the IslandWalk amenity areas. 

​

In an effort to ensure fair and equitable opportunity for all residents to use IslandWalk facilities, the Court Reservation Rules and Regulations governing the amenity reservation process were established by the RMC Site Administrators and approved by the HOA General Manager.  The indicated Rules have been configured into the RMC system, while the associated Regulations constitute a code of conduct intended to limit potentially abusive behavior.

Sport Court Reservation
Rules and Regulations

The following rules have been set up in the RMC-2020 system and apply to reservations for IslandWalk Bocce, Pickleball, and Tennis Courts:​

​

  • Court open hours are 7:30 am to 10:00 pm.

​

  • Courts may be reserved up to one week in advance. The system will allow residents to reserve a court, starting at 10 pm, 8 days prior to the desired date of reservation.

​

  • Residents are permitted to reserve one court per day, for a maximum 2-hour duration.

​

  • Residents are limited to two Prime Time (before noon) reservations per calendar week.

​

  • Reserved courts can be canceled up to one hour prior to the start of play. (If courts are impacted by weather events, affected players can contact the system administrator to have their reservation allotments reset.)

  • The HOA General Manager and Sport Activity Groups may implement block-scheduling restrictions for reservations if deemed appropriate for maximizing court utilization.

 

In addition, the following regulations have been established by the IslandWalk HOA General Manager to ensure residents have fair and equitable access to all courts:

​

  • Only registered adult IslandWalk homeowners or renters will be approved to reserve IW courts, and each RMC user is allowed to have only one User-ID in the system.

  • Each RMC user is allowed to have only one User-ID in the system.

  • Reserved courts must be used by the resident holding the reservation or by their house guests. System users are not allowed to reserve or temporarily hold courts for other residents or guests.

  • Reservations that are not going to be used must be canceled as soon as possible.

  • Courts that are not reserved – or that are not in use within ten minutes of the scheduled reservation time can be used by others on a first-come basis. 

Residents whose actions circumvent the intent of these rules or violate these regulations may have their RMC-2020 approvals to reserve IW courts suspended
