TAG Responsibilities

MISSION:


The mission of TAG is to create an engaging environment that brings together IslandWalk residents through the love of tennis, fostering community spirit and encouraging an active lifestyle. 


MEMBERSHIP:


TAG members must be IslandWalk home owners, residing in the community either full time or part time, with a limit of one member per household.   


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • TAG has organizational responsibility to initiate and coordinate programs and activities for the IW community, enabling residents to engage socially, build competency, and purse their best use and enjoyment of the available facilities. 

  • TAG will make recommendations to the Recreation Committee and HOA liaison and management company regarding the allocation and use of IW tennis facilities. This includes coordinating court assignments for community-purposed activities and advocating on behalf of the tennis community for facility maintenance and enhancements.

  • TAG has oversight responsibility to monitor how the courts are being used, to solicit comments and suggestions from participants, and to make adjustments suggestions to the Recreation Committee, HOA liason and management company on programs and activities as deemed necessary to maximize facility utilization and improve the overall tennis experience for community members.
